How it works
A Marketplace is where sellers and buyers meet. A marketplace rents tables and booths to the sellers, and provides the grounds and advertising to gather the people to view the products. In a similar way, this electronic website provides those qualities and more. If you have something to sell, the Marketplace gives you the easy tools to list and maintain your own table, aka your web page. Really – it's as easy as filling out a form.

We direct the people who visit this popular community website – www.thegumboot.ca – to come and view your products. Last year we had over 51,000 distinct visitors, and our numbers are growing steadily.

First thing? Select the right category in the first option bar! Choose from:
1 Stuff: Buy, Sell & Trade
2 Business Announcements; Jobs & For Hire

A few things to note:
Please include your name!
Pictures can be included – maximum upload size is 180 x 180 pixels.
Add a password – this stops others altering or deleting your ad/announcement.
The default expiry in this section is 2 weeks – but you can change this in the pop-up box options.
Businesses: Please use the Business Announcements column to advertise your specials and events. You can also add your business info for free in the Business Listings section (under Main Pages).

BTW, the click to view photo placeholder is there to speed things along for the folks on dial-up!
