Hey Everybody – Please tell your friends and colleagues about the Rally!
This event is for all Vancouver Island and Coastal Community People and for our threatened Rivers. Come on out and tell government that we want a say in what happens to BC Rivers and BC Energy! Expert speakers will deliver our message to local and provincial politicians meeting at the Association of Vancouver Island and Coastal Communities. Let them know that renewable energy development is too important for government and corporations to plan behind closed doors! Tell them to stop approving new river diversion projects and until they happen through a democratic and comprehensive planning process!

The Rally for Rivers happens downtown at the Nanaimo Convention Centre starting at 2:30. Parade to after-rally gathering at Bowen Park Hall where we can share more info, ask questions, collaborate and strategize. Learn how you can make a difference.
