Dear Quadra Islanders,
BC Ferries has successfully completed the berth work at Q Cove as planned, and normal island ferry service resumed 'first thing' Sunday morning April 11.
A big 'thank you for your patience and understanding' goes out to everyone who lives on or visited Quadra Island during the April 6-10 period. We know it was less than ideal to not be able to get a personal vehicle on/off the island, and we hope you are able to see the fantastic new berth soon.
Regards,
Darin Guenette

perhaps Darin would like to enlighten us as to why personal vehicles were denied access to the Heriot bay/Campbell river ferry? It certainly wasn't for lack of space!! The Whaletown/Campbell River run was accepting personal vehicles so.............???
