Curator’s Invitational Call: North Vancouver Island is a place of phenomenal natural beauty, but this beauty is not without harshness. Destruction and devastation are also part of the landscape.

How has human activity devastated this beautiful place? Is there a seed of beauty beneath every act of devastation, waiting for its time? What is devastation's legacy?

We are looking for work inspired by or revealing the devastating effects of mankind's interaction with the natural world. Is there an act of devastation that inspires or compels you to create?

Open to Nth Vancouver Island, Discovery Islands, Powell River, and Sunshine Coast artists.
