First-time children’s book author Caroline Bridges has been writing stories since she was a child herself. Her just-published book, Where Are The Whales?, was years in the making as she developed a storyline specifically focussing on Quadra Island from a child’s perspective.
In keeping with the book’s local theme, Caroline teamed up with Quadra artist Sarah James.
Sarah’s illustrations are warm, compelling, and highly skilled. They anchor the storyline so completely you’d almost think story and paintings came from the same hand.
