Theatre Quadra will be putting on a monologue and two 1-act comedies for their spring show; The Actor's Nightmare, and the monologue Mrs. Sorkin, written by Christopher Durang, Take Five, written by Wesley M. Peterson. Both comedies take place in the present with The Actor's Nightmare involving an accountant who finds himself mistaken for an actor's understudy and forced to perform in a play for which he doesn't know any of the lines. We'll need 2 adult males and 3 adult females.
In Take Five, picture trying to perform on an incomplete set, having an audience member use your stage phone to call his wife, all the while having to endure the foibles of two incompetent stage hands... there are 6 roles, ranging from young adult to adult. Mrs. Sorkin, the monologue, needs a female actor.

Prepare a short, comedic monologue for either Sunday, Feb. 10 from 2 – 4 pm at the Legion, or Monday, Feb.11 from 6:30-8:30 pm at the HBI Bayview Room and we'll see you there! Performances will be May3rd-4th. For more information, contact Kate at 285-3085 or Chris at 285-3695.
