Sierra Quadra, a registered group of the Sierra Club of BC, has been one of Quadra's foremost environmental watchdogs and the purveyor of films, workshops, speakers and events for nearly 20 years. We support the Sierra Club of BC's mandate to value and defend BC's wild places and species within the urgent context of climate change. And we're committed to bringing current issues into local awareness through community-based events and presenters.
All are welcome to attend our presentations, and admission is always by donation.
We're also starting an archive of our community offerings, beginning with the film This Changes Everything (Nov 28.15) and the Global People's Climate March in Campbell River (Nov 30.15).
You'll find these stories under Sierra Quadra in The Gumboot Sections menu.
At the right are just a few of the great events and campaigns we've coordinated over the years.
