Want to know how to earn a living and sound cool, intriguing and provocative at the same time? It's easy, just make something up. Here's an example: Let's discuss the latest evil environmental government plot: 'Chem Trails'.
Man that's gotta get your attention. There's a gentleman on the net warning us to stand guard against it. Well, read on...

The problem is, to the best of my knowledge, there isn't a thread of evidence that can back him up. So, if you care to indulge me, I offer the following: First of all, the term: 'Chem Trails' is remarkably new. So new in fact, I've never heard of it before. (Remember what I said about making a name for yourself just by making something real scary up?)

I've been studying atmospheric sciences most of my life and I can talk for hours about various questionable techniques such as cloud seeding and other weather modification procedures. I can even describe numerous deliberate and successful attempts at 'atmospheric bombing' with radioactive fall- out conducted by numerous countries interested in testing nuclear devices in the high arctic. But 'chem trails'? Let me give you some practical advice: 'Don't believe the hype'.

I mean, if it's strictly aircraft emissions we're talking about, you can find an immense amount of information on 'condensation trails' (or con-trails, as they are commonly called). And it's worth noting that these trails are more prevalent with the onset of various weather systems. That's why they're not always around. In fact, con-trails are a fairly reliable storm warning. So, when you consider that all sorts of chemicals are emitted by planes, ships and of course cars, then you can easily grasp that all we're really discussing here, is the more inclusive and common problem known as 'exhaust' due to the combustion engine. But this guy doesn't want to tell you that, because it's nothing new, and you can't point your finger at parliament. Whereas 'chem trails' is clearly more sinister sounding and without a doubt - a crock of... well this time I'll coin the new terminology: bio exhaust.

So there you go: the reason we see more con-trails in our skies, is that we also seeing more air travelers. That's not so hard to grasp really. The more cars, planes, and motor boats, the more emissions. That doesn't necessarily make the government corrupt. Personally I think it is more likely the case that mankind is unwittingly corrupting our own atmosphere through otherwise normal activities.
