The annual meeting of the Community Garden is Saturday, March 1st, 10:30AM. It is an opportunity to hear Eileen Mackay discuss ‘Preparing our gardens for the Coming Year’. The talk and annual meeting will be held in Room 3 at the Community Center. For those currently holding plots, come, renew your commitment to the garden through payment for your plot. Sign up for one of the volunteer jobs that are so crucial to keeping the community garden running smoothly and to meet your volunteer commitment.
Come and meet the Steering Committee who are responsible for administration and organizing the work of the garden. There are several new members of the Steering Committee. If you are interested in serving on this committee, please attend this AGM and let your wish be know.
New to the Community Garden? If you would like a plot, please come and meet us! The Old Farm Community Garden has 70 garden plots for a nominal annual fee for those wishing to grow food. A few plots are now available to new members.
There will be coffee, tea, treats, and an opportunity to talk gardening, while meeting your plot neighbours. The deadline for plot renewal, payment of annual fees, is April 15th.
