"Like Mother, Like Daughter" Paintings & Drawings
November 2nd - November 24th, 2007
Opens on Friday November 2nd with a Reception from 6 - 8pm. Barbara has experimented with several mediums including drawing, printmaking, painting and collage. Many of Barbara's pieces combine two or more mediums. Following her mother's example, Sovay has been drawing and painting since she could first hold a pencil. Her art studies include several courses at the Art Gallery of Winnipeg. Expect lots of big, bold shapes in big, bold colours in this debut exhibit of Sovay's acrylic works.
The Gallery is open Thurs thru Sat 12 - 6pm. We are located at Village Square, in rear - follow the signs. See the show next time you are at the Square. Everyone is welcome.
