Seen this morning on Rebecca Spit.... an albino squirrel. Easy to spot and so cute.

We have seen a couple of white mutation squirrels in the Smith Road area as well. I don't believe that they are true albinos as they have normal colored eyes.

In the last few years there was a white squirrel in Toronto's Trinity-Bellwoods neighbourhood. Check out the article from The Toronto Star for the skinny on this variant of the eastern grey squirrel.
