Wanna spend the rest of your life eating healthier popcorn?
Say "I do" to body-friendlier popcorn. The toxin diacetyl is an ingredient in butter-flavored microwave-popcorn (even organic brands), but you won't see it on the ingredients list, since it's a "natural or artificial flavoring." Take some old-school, organic kernels up to your honeymoon suite instead.
The Benefits
• Healthier poppin'. The chemical diacetyl, found in butter flavoring, has been linked to lung disease.
• Cutting per-kernel costs. Popcorn in processed, microwaveable bags costs up to five times more than buying the kernels and popping your own.
• Less waste. Fewer bags equals smaller garbage piles.
• Organic buttah is bettah. In a recent FDA Total Diet Study, popcorn was one of the ten foods most contaminated with pesticides.
