Uninsured Event, You are responsible for your own actions during this event
Dress for the Weather, Cold day
A mix of sun and cloud. Low minus 6. High plus 1.
Ride in at least a group of 3 people, make sure your bike and yourself are in good operating condition
Visitors can pick up a local maps from the Yak Shack or Cafe Aroma and ride with one of the locals
Carry your own lunch, hydration and repair gear & tools, 911 is available on the Island but cell coverage is spotty

8:30 am Assembly at the Shack ( AKA Island Cycle 615 Taku Rd.) Sign Waiver
9 am Start! Both 100K Groups will start together Leads: Jack & Sam
10 am 75k Lead Riders Kathleen & Petra Routes & Group may vary
11 am Other distances Lead Rider Lynden Routes & Group may vary
4:00 – 5:30 pm After Ride at the Shack “Beers, Cheers & Chowder” BYOB
7 pm onward Riders Celebration - Taku Resort -Beach House Lower Level, Big Fire on the Beach! BYOB & Snack , $5 donation for facilities rental
10 pm HBI Pub Rock and Roll to the Blue Katz (no cover, free snacks)
* Free Hot Beverages at Aroma Cafe & Island Cycle until 3:30 pm
All venues after the ride are within a 10 minute walk ! Park that vehicle. No Drinking and Driving!!

Looking for : - a few folks to bring firewood to Taku and clear a beach site for the evening fire
- a few people to make coffee and hot chocolate throughout Wednesday at the Yak Shack for the revolving riders (1/2 hr at a time)
- a few people to drop snacks at the Shack for the riders

Limited cell coverage, 911 Service on the Island
Ride in a group of 3 or more, Island maps will be available at the Shack
Obey all traffic rules, Ride Carefully & Defensively
Be prepared – tool kit & flat repair ready, lights, lunch & snacks, dress for the weather,
acknowledge that this may be a very cold and difficult ride
* Taku Guests should pay during check in for an easy check out on New Year's Day
