On October 23rd, 2015 Quadra RCMP received a call of a shoplifter who was yelling and fighting with staff at the B by the Sea store. RCMP attended and located a young offender who was being held for police by two good Samaritans. A second male had run from the store but was later identified during the investigation. Police are working with the youth by offering them alternative measures to take responsibility for their wrong doing and thus keep them out of the court system.

On October 26th, 2015 at 3:00PM in the afternoon Quadra RCMP conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in Quathiaski Cove. The male driver displayed symptoms of impairment due to alcohol. He provided two different breath samples into two different approved screening devices. The results of both samples were a fail which means in excess of the legal limit. The male was served a 90 day Immediate Roadside Prohibition (IRP) and his vehicle was impounded for 30 days.

On October 27th, 2015 Quadra RCMP received several reports of shots being fired after dark. Patrols were made but no one was located.

On October 30th, 2015 Quadra RCMP received a report of property damage to the Quadra Circles notice box posted outside the Tru Value Foods in Quathiaski Cove. Someone smashed in the wooden and plexi-glass box. This occurred sometime over the past 24 hours and so far there are no suspects or witnesses.
