The Quadra Island Senior Housing Society is alive and well. The Society announces that it is now able to receive donations in the form of securities. For donors, this may mean a tax advantage, since a charitable donation receipt can be issued for the value of the securities donated. Of course cash donations are also welcome !

If the society can raise at least $100,000, it will be able to apply for matching grants of $100,000 per year for three years---enough to get the project “off the ground” - - -construction started as early as 2008.

Philanthropists are urgently needed to advance this project—we have the land, the plans, the approval of government agencies – everything we need except THE MONEY.
