Maybe you, your loved one or friend thought it was just “the blues”, but it's been going on for weeks. And it seems much worse than that.
Is it grief about something? Or could it be depression?
Depression is a disease. It's not being lazy, and you can't "just get over it." Depression is very common and is nothing to be embarrassed about. The best help you can offer someone who has depression is to assist him or her to get treatment. Treatment works, and many types of health practitioners can treat depression.
Join Pat Peterson, Nurse Practitioner,
and Dr. Donna Dryer, Psychiatrist, to learn
more about Depression and how to handle it.
Please register in advance so we have an
idea of attendance. Drop-ins are also welcome.
