ATLANTA YOUNG SINGERS, headquartered in Georgia, USA, is Atlanta’s premier choir for children and youth. It was founded in 1975 when the idea of boys and girls singing together in a community choir was rare in the United States. Now celebrating its 41st season, AYS is bringing music to life for children and youth in metro Atlanta and audiences all over the world. Last year, over 90,000 people heard AYS. The choir has traveled extensively in 22 countries on over 75 tours singing in all the cultural capitals of North America and Europe and winning invitations to the most prestigious choral festivals in the world. Most recently, Atlanta Young Singers has performed in Carnegie Hall and has sung for President Jimmy Carter. Both the Treble Tour Choir and Youth Chorale won gold diplomas at the 2012 World Choir Games in Cincinnati.
