On October 28 at 7:45, Quadra Community Centre, Friday Flicks presents Love and Friendship.
Love and Friendship is a sharp tongued and riotous examination of 18th century polite society. This adaptation of Jane Austen’s long-unpublished novella – Lady Susan – revolves around the gorgeous and cunning Lady Susan Veron, a recent widow come engineer of friendships, love and marriage. Her unapologetic dishonesty paradoxically endows her with winning charm – another Austen heroine to rival her forebears.
“Love & Friendship is quick, clever and delightful, very funny and hugely entertaining.” Liz Braun, Toronto Sun
