Quadra Island Santa & Christmas Craft Fair
Quadra Island’s Christmas Craft Fair 2017
Nov. 24 4:00 PM-9:00 PM
Nov. 25 10:00 AM-3:00 PM
The Quadra Island Fire Department is co-operating with the North Pole this year to bring Santa to the area on Saturday November 25th. Santa will arrive at noon at the Quadra Island Community Centre to chat with children, have photos taken, and hear the little ones’ requests for the festive season.

“Childrens’ requests are becoming increasingly specialized and technical,” says Santa, “and my elves need extra time to finesse some of the gifts. So I decided to run a pilot project on Quadra Island to see whether chatting with kids a little earlier than usual would give the North Pole a jump on what’s trending for 2017.”

The white-bearded wonder’s visit will coincide with the Quadra Christmas Craft Fair, which gathers artisans from near and far to provide an opportunity for folks to get their gift lists completed early and in one stop.

Visitors to the fair will discover an eclectic assortment of items for every budget: large metal sculpture, woodworking, hand spun/woven/knit/sewn clothing, the ever-popular pottery, photography, preserves and puzzles, greeting cards, jewelry, leather, soap, candles, up-cycled art and more.

The kitchen will be preparing meals and snacks so that you will be able keep shopping until you have checked off everyone on your list!

Shop local, shop early, and enjoy your December for once!

Quadra’s Christmas Craft Fair runs Friday, November 24 from 4:00-9:00 and Saturday November 25 10:00-3:00, at the Quadra Island Community Centre, 970 West Road. Santa arrives at noon on Saturday.
