Theatre Quadra
What makes a ten-minute play work? How do you create the critical elements of a full-length play on such a small scale? Have an idea for a play? A couple in the bank? Bring your ideas and join five Quadra playwrights on January 14 for an afternoon of discussing and practising the art of the ten-minute play.
Ten-minute plays are a great way to hone your writing skills, without devoting months or years to the process. They’re fun to write. And Theatre Quadra has its own annual festival as an opportunity for you to get your well-crafted work on the stage.
The workshop takes place on Sunday, January 14 from 1-5 p.m. in Room 3 at the Quadra Community Centre. Theatre Quadra members free; non-members $10. Space is limited to twenty writers- aspiring or experienced. To save your spot, email before January 10. For information, call Doni Laird at 250-285-3881.
