This whole ferry situation is BOGUS!

doesn't our system of transporting people and cars and stuff across the passage seems a bit poorly thought out?

passengers, are easy to transport, even with bikes! why use this massive boat that only runs once an hour and costs a fortune?

as for BC ferry's hows this for an idea, make walk on passengers free, raise the cost of cars reasonably. bet more people will walk on the ferry, use public transit and really a person on the boat isn't taking up the room or slow loading and unloading times of cars.

im a nobody when it comes to who knows who int his but i think that we need to rethink this as islanders. the ferry is becoming less and less reliable transportation.

how about a locals rate? lets charge the tourists top dollar( of course) but us locals that take the ferry more regular, give us a break! mayb a card that u buy that gives you unlimited ferry travel on a monthly basis for a flat rate?

this new ferry card.... is lame really.. poorly thought out, and really its not a very good deal! common now.

thats all for now, lets get some reliable, economical public transit for us islanders, gas isnt going down anytime soon is it?
