LOUISE LAVALLÉE featured artist for the month of JULY at DRAW Gallery presents a slice of real island life. Colourful narrative illustrations capture the atmosphere and natural beauty of Island living through paintings on mixed media, paper, and canvas. With a purity of colour and attention to detail, you’ll find sailboats in harbour and in full tack, robins among the spring flowers, orcas and dolphins and if you look closely, you may recognize a neighbour or two. Come and see recent works by the creator of Quadra’s famous Island Poster. Openings are always first Friday of the Month. The Gallery is open Thursday through Saturday from 12-6pm.
