One of the many creative ideas that came out of the gumboot's launch at Café Aroma was the notion of gathering together a smallish group of people interested in learning more about their computer programs. If you have an interest in learning more about, say, Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, how about contacting me (you can email me at robynthegumboot.ca, or just add a comment to this article) with a list of your questions. Then I'll contact a teacher-geek (TG for short) who'll come and spend a day with us answering our queries and showing us the ropes.
My idea is that we give the TG our wish list of what we want to know a good few weeks ahead of time, so s/he can put together a day's tutorial that hits all the bases.
We would share the costs of hiring our TG for the day. And perhaps we could schedule a series of workshops if there's an over-abundance of questions.
So what say, Quadra cyberphiles? Interested?
Get your wish list to me, and please mention whether you're a Mac-head or a PC person.
I sense the beginning of a Quadra Geek Club...!
