People on Cortes Island are coming together to honour the forest through a multi-media presentation at the Old SchoolHouse Art Gallery on October 23 and 24, 2008.

We would like to extend an invitation to our Quadra Island neighbours to join us for the Prayer for the Forest art show, where we are expressing our feelings, love and visions for the lands owned by Island Timberlands on Cortes.

You will be treated to a joyful experience where elements of movement, poetry, song, plastic arts, and story are creatively woven together by local artisans of all ages.

Please notice that the show on Thursday, October 23 is in the afternoon, so you will have plenty of time to catch the ferry back to Quadra.
