QUADRA ARTISANS PREPARE FOR SANTA’S SHOPPING VISIT
Industrious artists and craftspeople are bent over their workbenches and pottery wheels this week, striving to create the perfect product for Quadra Island’s Christmas Craft Fair, to be held Friday Nov. 21 4PM – 9PM and Saturday Nov. 22 10AM – 3PM at the Quadra Community Centre.
Find unique handmade items by craftspeople from Quadra and the outer islands: woodworkers, knitters, sewers, candle makers, potters, soap makers, and more.
Come for supper on Friday or lunch on Saturday and enjoy warm home made meals and goodies from ‘Kringle’s Kitchen’. Santa arrives on the big red fire truck Saturday at noon to visit eager children and to do some shopping of his own. For more information: Quadra Community Centre 250-285-3243.
