Every month Herons at the Heriot Bay Inn shows the work of an island artist. For the month of November the mixed media works of Marna Disbrow are on display. Marna Disbrow’s works are acrylics and watercolours, often collaged with photographic images produced by herself.
Marna has traveled extensively in both wild and populated areas, and these experiences combined with her interest in art history and the natural world are the strong influences in her work. Marna is a graduate of the Emily Carr College of Art & Design; as well she has studied photography in Florence, Italy. Her colourful works of art are being shown till November 25.
