Over 100 attended the Douglas Family adventure "Around the World in 4 Years" and were enchanted by the slide show & talk by Ian. It was an outstanding success for QISHS with a total $1981 donated, including our 28th member of the 1000 Club.

Bob & Kurt tried to burn the slash piles on the lot - with no success, but had another look at them today with a backhoe operator who may help us with a second attempt.

We are appealing to the Quadra community for someone with fundraising experience and a desire to help advance the project, to come forward and join our team.

Three members of our Board of Directors visited Cortez a couple of weeks ago, and were impressed by the progress made -- six units completed to the drywall stage, and looking to occupancy in April. WOW! They had to spend almost $100k to develop their sewage disposal system - a problem we don't have because our lot is on the Q Cove sewer system.
